It shall be the purpose of this organization to:
Constitute a resource to support nurses who coordinate and/or manage cases for the insurance industry.
Maintain the honor and character of the nursing profession.
Improve community health by bettering services to the disabled.
Develop and promote standards for rehabilitation nurses.
Stimulate interest in and provice a forum for discussion of problems and changes in the field of rehabilitation nursing.
Stimulate rehabilitation nurse participation in all nursing activities: local, state, national and international.
Do, within the limits of the law, all things necessary, proper, incidental, suitable, useful and conducive to the complete accomplishment of the foregoing purposes.

RNCN is a non-profit organization

Luncheon Meetings are held the first Thursday of each month (except July) with programs directed at Rehabilitation Nursing.

Two continuing education units are offered for BRN, CCM, CRC and CDMS credits.

Scholarships are offered to Bachelors and Masters degree students at local universities.
