CCMC Welcomes Julie Rieve as New Commissioner

SAN DIEGO, CALIF. — The Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC), the nation’s oldest and largest organization that accredits case managers, recently selected Julia A. Rieve of San Diego, Calif. to serve a four-year term on its board.

Rieve, RN, BSHCM, CCM, CPHQ, FNAHQ, is president of CQI – a Healthcare Management Services Company. Rieve has widespread experience in healthcare administration, systems analysis and program development, which includes serving on the San Diego County Long Term Care Advisory Board and CMSA Communications Chair. She also has considerable consulting, speaking and authorship expertise. Rieve serves on CCMC’s ethics, nominations and new product development committees.

 

“I look forward to helping CCMC continue to attract the best and the brightest in the case management field to serve on its board and committees,” Rieve said. “I am proud to be part of CCMC’s future growth.”

 

Rieve is one of four new commissioners chosen to serve on CCMC’s board, which is comprised of 12 to 18 commissioners who are active in the case management field. In addition to Rieve, CCMC chose Sue Jensen, RN, CCM of Grand Rapids, Mich.; Lynn S. Muller, RN, BA, CCM, JD, of Bergenfield, N.J.; and Kathryn Serbin, RN, CCM, of Mount Prospect, Ill., to serve on the CCMC Board of Commissioners.

 

“The impressive volume of responses spotlighted the strength of the case management field and the collective dedication of its professionals to increasing the value of the field’s gold standard in certification – the CCM credential,” CCMC Chair Jo Carter said. “The CCMC congratulates the newest Commissioners and welcomes them to what we expect will be highly successful terms of service.
